There are a lot of documents referring to “QTP Object Type Information” document, but it is not easily found by many. This doc is supposed to “list of Flex components which are QTP enabled by default” .

When you install the “QTP plugin” (found in your Flex Builder 3 install directory under the “Installers” dir), the installer typically lays down some files under “C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flex 3 Plug-in for Mercury QuickTest Pro” (although you can change that dir in the installer.)

The “QTP Object Type Information” file you are looking for is under that directory and called TEAFlex.xml.
It is the “mapping file” that essentially maps Flex components, classes, and their methods/properties to implementations for QTP to use. The file is a little unwieldy to read through…but that is the most comprehensive “list” of what can be recorded/played back of Flex classes/components with QTP.
